Thanks for sharing these recipes i really love trying to cook Cameroon dishes. One of my favorite is โSangaโ . When abroad you tend not to realize how much you miss the dishes you had while growing up, your home meals. This is traditional meal in Cameroon. Its made with maize, cassava leaf, and palm nut juice in Cameroonian cuisine. The leaves are mashed and the cooked mixture becomes a thick stew. Its really delicious, i cook it often as the ingredients are easily available even if your not in an African country.

Thanks for all the recipes!! I learnt about Cameroonian food (to eat and also to cook) from my friends while studying abroad. Now that itยดs time for each of us to continue with our paths, I will miss my cameroonian โfamilyโ and their food (I became a crazy fan of Eru!). Thatโs why, I was looking for the recipes to take back home and try to make them for my relatives (if I find the ingredients lol!). Would you please help me decide on a recipe I could make for my friends from Cameroon? They live here in the USA now. I would like a dessert or breakfast to take to our Bible Study meeting. I would like it to be from ingredients easily found here in the US but also be recognizable to them as something from Cameroon. Thank you kindly for your help.

Hi. Thatโs so sweet of you! All I could think of is this Puff Puff recipe here >> https://www.africanbites.com/puff-puff/ which is usually eaten for breakfast, as a snack or as a side dish. You can also check the Chocolate version (for dessert) here if you want >> https://www.africanbites.com/chocolate-puff-puff/ . Enjoy!

Oh my god, thank you for these recipes! My ex (and his friends) are from Cameroon, and I sadly had to leave his friends behind with a relationship that didnโt work. Of course, i donโt *only* miss their cooking, but Iโve been regretting not learning more from them. Cameroonian food is absolutely incredible. What little Iโve been able to recreate had mainly been from Nigerian recipes. Similar, certainly also good, but not quite the same.
Iโll be sending you a kind thought when Iโve gained ten pounds from eru alone โค๏ธ
Also, you donโt look a day over 19!
