This recipe has long been overdue for years. Finally, after racking my brain trying to give you guys the best chicken dishes, I realized I haven’t posted this family favorite quick meal.
And boy, I was so happy how all the pictures turned out just how I wanted them to be. They are simply picture perfect and drool-worthy.
This Honey Garlic Chicken dish will become your new favorite for a couple of reasons. Actually, I could make a long list, but we’ll settle with three big reasons why you should add this to your menu. You’d want this frequently on your table, trust me!
So what are the great things about this chicken dish?
Okay, if you’ve noticed, quick and easy meals are my BFF lately. This one here is certainly at the top of my list as it’ll only take me 30 minutes to make this from start to finish (yep, yep). You’ll never ever think that it’s quick and easy after you get to taste how mighty fine the flavors are in this dish.
The flavors. No need to scour your grocery store with unfamiliar ingredients. This is hands down one of those dishes that uses pantry staple ingredients. Not to mention, it’ll only take few ingredients to come up an out of this world sauce.
Speaking of the sauce, that one there is the STAR of the show. I guarantee you, you’ll want that sauce smothered on almost anything. I finished an entire bowl of rice just with the sauce alone. SSSshhhh. 😉
Golden brown, juicy and tender on the inside bursting with vibrant flavors – what more could you ask for?
You’ll love that bit of tang from the lemon, plus the sweet honey and garlicky flavor coating the protein. Geez!
Nibbling it down to the bone isn’t a crime. So please, go on and help yourself. This Honey Garlic Chicken is certainly one of the well-loved chicken recipes you’ll ever have.
You can always top it with steamed broccoli or similarly shaped veggies for a healthier meal. This one will be one of your go-to family weeknight meals!

Season chicken with salt, and creole seasoning ; set aside. Then heat a Cast Iron or skillet over medium high heat; brown chicken on both sides until golden and cooked through about 5-7 minutes per side, turning frequently, if needed for even cooking. Or until chicken turns pink or reached 165 degrees F. Set chicken aside.
In a small bowl combine honey, soy sauce and lemon juice (vinegar works as well about 1/2 tablespoon). Set aside. Add garlic and ginger to the pan the cast iron quickly stir for about 30 seconds, be careful not to let it burn, cause it might alter the flavor.
Return chicken thighs back to the pan. Quickly pour in honey mixture, continue to cook the chicken for about a minute while the sauce reduces to a thicker consistency, turn chicken around to coat in sauce, turn off the heat, garnish with parsley, if desired and serve immediately with rice and/or vegetables

Is this recipe glutin-free?
Imma says
Hi Irene. To make this dish completely gluten-free, opt for a gluten-free soy sauce. Do let me know how it turns out for you :).

I was scrambling to find your original Pin for this recipe so I could leave this comment on your Pinterest as well as here.
Couldn’t find it but here it is anyway.
I made this for dinner yesterday. I’ve made a lot of Pinterest recipes, and no offense to the ones I’ve got saved and use regularly but this is literally the first recipe I had to make a comment on — because it was so good.
My fiancรฉ told me the chicken was so juicy he had to cut into the rest of it to make sure it was fully cooked: ’cause he is *not* used to chicken this good.
Imma: this is a Grade A recipe. Insanely quick and easy to make, not to mention it being nearly foolproof for beginners (like me!).
Thank you so much for sharing this, you’ve got a follow from me!
