One issue I have, is how many of these dishes can be eaten cold? Tuna Melt, Chicken Sandwich, Sausage roll. Beef Empanada and Buffalo Chicken Dip are all supposed to be served hot. Those might be considered party dishes, but they shouldn’t be called picnic dishes. I do plan to make some of the others.

Thanks for your feedback. I understand cold food is much safer on a picnic, and that’s what I usually do. However, some people like their food hot no matter what the occasion. Here are some tips for those who like hot food at a picnic.
1. When packing, properly heat your food as much as possible without ruining it close to the time you plan on leaving.
2. Pack the food in an insulated cooler (in this case, insulated warmer) that holds food around 140โ/60 โ or above.
3. Keep the heat in as much as possible by keeping the food covered. A thermometer is helpful when in doubt.
4. Toss any food left out to cool longer than two hours.
Hope that helps.
